2. Use of the Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes and for learning about or requesting auto transport services.

You agree not to use the website in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or interfere with the website or its operation. You also agree not to attempt unauthorized access to website systems, accounts, databases, or other protected areas.

3. Service Information

OpenRoad Auto Transport provides information about vehicle transportation services, including:

  • Open Car Transport
  • Enclosed Car Transport
  • Door-to-Door Auto Transport
  • State-to-State Auto Transport

Information displayed on the website is provided for general informational purposes. Specific transportation arrangements, availability, pickup locations, delivery locations, pricing, and timing may vary depending on the individual shipment.

4. Quotes and Pricing

Any quote or price provided for auto transport is based on the information available at the time of quoting and may be affected by factors such as vehicle specifications, transportation route, distance, pickup and delivery locations, desired dates, service type, carrier availability, market conditions, and other shipment requirements.

A website estimate, inquiry, or preliminary quote does not automatically constitute a final transportation contract unless otherwise stated in the applicable service agreement.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the vehicle and shipment.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary to arrange transportation.

Customers should disclose relevant information about the vehicle’s operating condition, including whether it starts, rolls, steers, and brakes normally.

Customers should remove personal belongings and prepare the vehicle in accordance with the shipping instructions provided for the shipment.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the pickup and delivery locations can reasonably accommodate vehicle transport. If a transport carrier cannot safely access an exact address, an alternative nearby location may be required.

6. Pickup and Delivery

Pickup and delivery schedules may be influenced by traffic, weather, road conditions, mechanical issues, route restrictions, carrier schedules, availability, and circumstances outside reasonable control.

Estimated pickup and delivery dates are not necessarily guarantees unless a written agreement specifically states otherwise.

Door-to-door transportation means pickup and delivery as close as reasonably practical to the requested locations and is subject to accessibility and safety conditions.

7. Vehicle Inspection and Existing Damage

Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle before pickup and after delivery and to document its condition with photographs.

Existing damage should be identified as part of the applicable inspection process. Customers should carefully review and retain any condition reports or transportation documents associated with their shipment.

8. Inoperable Vehicles

Customers must disclose if a vehicle cannot start, roll, steer, or brake normally.

Inoperable vehicles may require additional equipment, special handling, or additional transportation charges depending on the circumstances.

9. Personal Property

Customers should not place personal belongings or household goods inside a transported vehicle unless specifically permitted under the applicable transportation arrangement.

OpenRoad Auto Transport is not responsible for personal property left inside a vehicle when such property is not part of the agreed transportation service.

10. Website Content

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current; however, we do not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, current, error-free, or uninterrupted.

Service descriptions, photographs, graphics, availability information, and other website materials may be changed without notice.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, OpenRoad Auto Transport shall not be liable for losses or damages arising from website interruptions, inaccurate information supplied by a customer, events outside reasonable control, or misuse of the website.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Force Majeure

Transportation and website operations may be affected by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, government actions, accidents, labor disruptions, carrier availability, and other unforeseen events.

Such circumstances may affect transportation schedules and service availability.
